This year’s GPUG Summit User Group Conference was a great success for our KES Microsoft team. Providing an unparalleled learning experience, Summit offers its attendees educational training on every aspect of Dynamics GP, Dynamics 365 for Sales (CRM), Dynamics BC (NAV) and the full Power Platform suite, including Power BI. It’s no wonder then, that Summit 2019 experienced a huge turnout of 7,500 people, including users, partners, and ISV’s.

Our very own KES Microsoft Practice Director, Shannon Mullins, taught several Pre-Conference Academy Classes and Sessions this year with over hundreds of GPUG users in attendance. At one of Shannon’s most popular Sessions she taught, titled “Top 20 Things You Should Never Do in GP,” a total of 312 users stood patiently in line beforehand, waiting to enter an absolutely packed room complete with a large stage and multiple screens. Shannon’s second session, “Getting Fixed on Fixed Assets,” proved just as successful as her first. With only 150 seats to spare, users crammed into the auditorium wherever they could possibly find space, opting for open spots on the floor, in front of the projector, and seated along the walls. Given the extreme popularity of Shannon’s sessions, Summit had to promise a dual-session offering for next year in order to accommodate those users that couldn’t squeeze into the room.

For anyone who didn’t get to attend GPUG Summit this year, or for any users wanting more, we’re excited to offer an upcoming opportunity to see Shannon teaching live here in Nashville! On November 21st, we will be having a Microsoft Mini-Conference event sponsored by Jet Global and Avalara.
