Kate Spikula, Senior NetSuite Consultant
1. How would you describe your role as a NetSuite consultant at KES?
As a NetSuite consultant at KES, I aim to provide long-term, effective solutions for our clients to set them up for the utmost success. I strive to grow alongside our clients and ensure they always feel supported. I enjoy being challenged each and every day to tackle new customizations, expand my product and business knowledge, and continue cultivating strong and long-lasting relationships.
2. Can you tell us about your professional background?
After graduating from the University of Colorado, I landed right away at NetSuite. Immediately I was exposed to a wide variety of businesses. I had a front row seat to all the pressing business challenges companies face while seeking to manage their business out of a centralized system. I learned to not only listen to the concerns of my clients, but how to transform their asks into the most effective processes and solutions. Discovering a passion for helping clients achieve their goals, I continued my NetSuite consulting path with my present role here at KES.
3. What is your favorite thing about working with KES's clients?
We are lucky to have such a broad range of interesting clients at KES. I enjoy that our clients aren’t afraid to ask for bigger customizations and push us to think outside of the box, undoubtedly knowing we will deliver. I appreciate feeling consistently challenged to be a better consultant, and our client portfolio allows me to do just that.
4. What do you think differentiates KES from other NetSuite consulting firms?
In my opinion, it’s right in our slogan “Partners for Life.” I’m sure I speak for everyone on the KES team when I say that we all are genuinely committed to making solutions for our customers that set them up for success in the long run. We form firm relationships and, in turn, generate a sense of trust. Clients know they can always rely on KES for any question or request, big or small.

5. Can you tell us about a NetSuite project that you are particularly proud of?
An initiative that first comes to mind was taking on an integration certification. Becoming certified in a 3rd party integrator has in turn made me a stronger NetSuite consultant. Now, I can more effectively support NetSuite by looking at the big picture to adequately communicate to other platforms. Becoming more knowledgeable around 3rd parties was a personal goal of mine from the get-go here at KES, and one I’ve since been able to achieve to further benefit our clients.
6. Given your NetSuite background, what is the best part of working for KES?
The people, hands down. Not only our clients, but also the internal team here at KES. Everyone is in full support of each other’s growth and achievements. The knowledge this team has is unparalleled and makes being a part of the team a true pleasure.
7. In your opinion, what are you seeing at KES that is particularly exciting?
Something I value at KES is that we consistently look for the next opportunity or way we can add value to our existing client base and future clients. For example, the SuiteApps we offer solely aim to make our client’s day-to-days easier. We aren’t afraid to jump into new spaces and think outside the box. As a new member of the KES management team, I’m excited to help shape the future of our firm and provide input into the continued enhancements and innovative solutions we will undeniably deliver in the foreseeable future.
8. In your words, how would you describe KES’s motto, “Solutions for Today. Partners for Life.”
We are relationship driven. We craft unique immediate solutions that benefit our customers and add value to their businesses, but we keep our clients coming back for more. 9. What do you like to do when you are not working?
With mountains in my backyard here in my home of Denver, I love the outdoors and all things active. When I’m not working, you can likely find me skiing at one of the nearby resorts or teaching yoga. I enjoy traveling, exploring new places, and spending as much time as possible with friends and family.
